Caring for the Smiles of Friends and Neighbors
Dr. Jeffrey Minth has lived in Rockwall since his family moved here in 1980. At that time the only traffic signal in town was the flashing yellow light at the intersection of Fannin and Kaufman.
Dr. Minth was inspired by local dentists: Dr. Thomas Conner, Dr. Arthur Kuhlman, and Dr. Frank Miller. By the time he graduated from Rockwall High School, in 1988, Dr. Minth knew dentistry was his future. He wanted to care for others, improve lives, and he didn’t want to have to wear a tie while doing so.
Dr. Minth attended Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating in 1995 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). He opened his solo practice in 1999 and hasn’t looked back.
The long-term relationships Dr. Minth develops with patients are key to his personal and professional satisfaction. He loves talking and laughing with people, sharing stories, and building a rapport based on respect and compassion. He and his team work hard to help each person develop their healthiest, happiest smile and encourage patients to take control of their dental health.
Dr. Minth understands that some people have dental-related anxiety. It’s his goal, and that of the team, to help people work through their fears and learn that a visit to the dentist is nothing to worry about. He strives for painless care, explaining every procedure and encouraging questions, so his patients always know what’s happening and why. Encouraging and supporting patients, he reassures them that they are safe and in excellent hands.
As part of his commitment to providing the best care, Dr. Minth completes many hours of continuing education every year. This keeps him up-to-date on new techniques, materials, and technology, so he’s able to deliver the right treatment for each person. Currently, Dr. Minth is the Treasurer of the Rockwall County Dental Society.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Minth enjoys spending time with his wife, Allyson, and two sons, Christian and Nicolas. He loves music and most Wednesday nights you’ll find him playing bass at church. He also enjoys any sport that ends in “boarding” and likes coaching basketball for Nicolas' YMCA team, too.
